About the Role
We are looking for a Machine Learning Researcher to join the research team at ElevenLabs. You will thrive in the role if you enjoy:
- Creating and maintaining data management systems: Design a reliable and scalable system for text-to-speech projects, ensuring data quality and versioning guidelines.
- Training, assessing, and launching models: Establish processes for autonomous training, assessment, and fine-tuning of text-to-speech models, along with procedures for refreshing validation data.
- Investigating cutting-edge ML approaches: Explore new techniques in machine learning, deep learning, and algorithms to advance text-to-speech technology.

What You Bring
We don’t require formal certifications or degrees. Instead, we are looking for candidates who showcase their ability to solve impressively difficult problems through past projects, designs, or GitHub contributions.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years of industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, with a key focus on data pipeline construction and developing machine learning models.
- Proven ability to evaluate novel concepts autonomously or improve existing ML projects, with the potential for published works.
- Extensive experience in conducting exploratory research to enhance data quality, particularly in audio and text-to-speech domains.
