We seek an IT Support Engineer who will provide front-line technical support for all FloQast employees. As an IT Support Engineer, you will work on the day-to-day setup, support, and troubleshooting of end-user applications. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated technologist who thrives in a fast-paced working environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

We are seeking candidates from the greater New York City area; remote candidates will not be considered for this particular role.

What You'll Do

  • Provide hardware, software, and network support for a blended macOS and Windows operating environment
  • Manage the day-to-day IT ticketing system by resolving support issues promptly and escalating when necessary
  • Perform hardware repairs, upgrades, and migrations
  • Provision and manage access for all end-user IT applications
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding tasks
  • Maintain IT asset tracking system
  • Participate in IT projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Recommend new solutions and process improvements within the IT team

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, and/or relevant industry certification and experience
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting end-user IT applications such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Confluence, Jira, Office 365, Slack, Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Strong technical support experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, network, conference rooms, printers, and software
  • Familiarity with the command line and administrative functions of macOS and Windows machines
  • Basic network administration and troubleshooting experience
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and Okta
  • Experience using support ticket management systems such as Zendesk or JIRA Service Desk is a plus
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines, respond to rapidly changing demands, and fulfill efficient follow-ups
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency with great attention to detail
  • Regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. for duties such as delivering computer hardware, unpacking and moving equipment, etc.

Nice-To-Haves

  • 1-3 years experience working within an IT team in a hyper-growth environment or startup
  • Experience supporting onsite and remote workforce
  • Experience or participation in automation initiatives of employee onboarding and offboarding process a plus
