Senior Applied AI Engineer

About the Role

We’re seeking an exceptional Applied AI Engineer to develop cutting-edge AI-powered solutions, prototypes, and API-driven applications. In this role, you will experiment with state-of-the-art AI techniques, build POCs to showcase our capabilities, and contribute to real-world product innovation. You’ll work closely with AI researchers and engineers to bridge the gap between experimentation and production-ready solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered prototypes, POCs, and API-driven solutions to address client needs.
• Experiment with techniques such as prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model evaluations.
• Build frameworks and tools for automated evaluation of AI-driven solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate open-source and SaaS tools to enhance product offerings.
• Ensure AI-powered solutions comply with data security and client requirements.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to transition prototypes into scalable systems.
• Stay up to date with AI advancements and apply emerging techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in software engineering, focusing on generative AI applications.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, and their HTTP ecosystem.
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy API-driven applications.
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs and generative AI models in production.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly prototype and iterate.
• Solid software engineering best practices, including clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or model customization.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI workflows and providers.
• Experience in evaluating and benchmarking AI models for specific use cases.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices in AI applications.
